EnUkraine exported 60% more juices this year

According to the results of the first eight months of this year, the export of juices from Ukraine amounted to 62.7 million US dollars, which is almost 60% more than the same period last year.
This was reported by the press service of the UCAB.
Along with this, imports of these products to Ukraine decreased and amounted to $ 23 million, which is 18% less than in the same period last year. The trade surplus is positive at $ 39.8 million.
The United States became the main buyer of Ukrainian juices, to which juices were delivered for $ 25.6 million, which is 40.8% of all juice exports from Ukraine. 13.1% (over $ 8 million) was delivered to Austria, and 12.7% (almost $ 8 million) to Canada.
Among the commodity structure of juices, Ukraine exported more than apple juice 64.9 thousand tons (91.2% of total exports) and tomato - 3.1 thousand tons (4.4%).
The reduction in juice imports indicates that Ukraine is gradually crowding out foreign competitors from the domestic market, filling it with its own products. At the same time, increasing exports consolidates the position of Ukraine in the world market.
