Ukraine can increase exports of food and feed to Britain |

Ukraine can increase the export of food and animal feed to the UK to $ 6 billion annually, the press service of the Association of the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club reported, citing the words of the Association President Alex Lissitsa

“After the UK leaves the European Union, Ukrainian producers can have a unique chance to enter the British market with their agricultural products. And go not so much with grains and oilseeds, as with high value-added goods, displacing our European partners from the British market with more competitive prices with decent quality Ukrainian products. According to my conservative estimates, Ukraine can increase the export of food and animal feed to the UK to 5-6 billion US dollars annually in the first couple of years”, - according to Lissitsy.

According to the president of the UABC, in order to increase the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to the UK, manufacturers should now think about the necessary quality of products, certification, possible partners and distribution channels.
