Ukraine won a tender for the supply of military aircraft in Peru
The plant's products were ahead of competitors such as Leonardo's C27J aircraft (USA-Italy) and Airbus's CASA C-295. To determine the final assessment, the customer took into account delivery times, aircraft performance, staff training, extended warranties, and more.
“Antonov’s airplanes have long proved their operational efficiency worldwide, along with this, our designers offer new solutions and new equipment in response to the challenges of our time. This contract was a logical continuation of the operation of the ANs in Peru, because the new An-178 will replace the An-32B in the service of the police, ”said Aivaras Abromavicius, Director General of Ukroboronprom.
Note that before this, the last sold Antonov aircraft was the An-158, delivered to the customer in 2015.
