Exports of goods in January-February 2019 amounted to 7.96 billion dollars and exceeded the figures for the same period of 2018 by 7.9%.

"In January-February 2019, exports of goods amounted to $ 7.96 billion, which is 7.9% more compared to the same period in 2018. Over the two months of this year, foreign trade operations were carried out with partners from 202 countries," a statement said.
During this period, Ukrainian exporters sold products of plant origin for $ 1.99 billion, non-precious metals and products from them - for $ 1.9 billion, machinery, electrical equipment and mechanisms - for $ 669 million.
In particular, in the first two months of 2019, goods worth $ 3.5 billion were exported to the European Union countries, a 4% increase compared with January-February 2018.
The European Union remains the main trading and strategic partner of Ukraine with a share of 44% of total exports of goods.
As reported, Ukrainian exports of goods and services in 2018 amounted to $ 57.1 billion and, compared to 2017, increased by 8.6% or $ 4.5 billion. Including goods for 2018 from Ukraine were exported to 47.3 billion dollars (an increase of 9.4% against 2017).
